George Lewis Logan Sr.

GEORGE LEWIS LOGAN SR. of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on Friday September 11, 2015 at home with his loved ones. George was born on August 27, 1948 in Bradford, Alabama. He was happily married to the love of his life Eva Smith Logan for 45 years. George was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. He served his country as a Rifleman in the Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. George attended CrossPoint Church in Trussville, Alabama with his wife, children and grandchildren. George was happiest spending time with his family. George is survived by his loving wife, Eva Smith Logan. He is the father of George Logan Jr. (Mandi) and Stacy Logan Alfano (Lee). In addition to his wife and children, he is the adored “Pops” to his grandchildren Madison, Stone, Sadie and Jake. George was preceded in death by his parents, Byron "Boodle" and Mary Logan, and his daughter, Catrina Logan Christopher. Visitation will be held Sunday September 13, 2015 from 5:00-6:30pm at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Funeral services will be held at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel on Monday September 14, 2015 at 12:00 p.m., officiated by Dr. Ryan Whitley, with burial to follow at Pawnee Cemetery.
