

Hannon Matthew Richardson, age 18 of Birmingham, AL passed away on October 28, 2024. He grew up in Chelsea, AL. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He was currently employed with RSC Mechanical, a job he was very enthusiastic about.
Hannon was a handsome and hard-working young man. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed lacrosse, hunting, fishing, dirt bike riding and especially working on his truck. Hannon was kindhearted and often helped others. He lifted spirits and brought joy and laughter to others through his charismatic and comedic charm. Hannon graced this world with his beautiful smile infectious laugh and caring heart for a short time, but his memory will continue to bless all those that knew him.
Hannon is survived by his mother, Nicole Barnett; father, Douglas Richardson; stepfather, Gregory Barnett; sister, Anna Sage Richardson; stepbrothers, Logan Barnett (Sophia) and Barrett Barnett; a nephew, Buddy Barnett; maternal grandmother, Cora Thompson; paternal grandparents, Patricia and Gerald Richardson; maternal Aunt and uncle; Rick and Veronica Carter; paternal aunt and uncle Michael and Kelli Richardson Steve and Florence Richardson and Geoffrey Richardson; cousins, Owen, William, Marley, Azonde and Kai Richardson. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dewey “Sonny” Thompson.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1st at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville. A visitation for family and friends will take place at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel two hours prior to the service. Following the graveside a reception will take place Friday, Nov 1st, from 2pm-4pm Double Oak Community Church Mt Laurel Community Building 115 Olmsted St, Birmingham, AL 35242. In lieu of flowers to honor Hannon's memory, Nicole requests donations to Legacy of Hope.
