Harry Laten Jarvis age 74 of Birmingham, AL passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Laten served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves and retired from General Motors in Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his wife Faye; parents, George and Bessie Jarvis; brothers, Buddy Jarvis and Gerald Jarvis. He is survived by sisters, Barbara Cheney and husband Bob, and Hazel Mason; brother-in-law, Middleton Clyde Kirk; and several loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon on Friday, March 9, 2012 at Elmwood Chapel followed by a graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
