Harvey E Leslie

Harvey Edward “Ed” Leslie age 87 of Remlap, AL passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at his home. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Evelyn Sizemore Leslie. He was born October 5, 1931 in Ensley, AL and was the son of George Howard Leslie and Paula E. Campbell Leslie. He served his country in the United States Navy. He received his B.A. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1955 from Auburn University and upon graduation accepted a job with Anderson Electric Company and was employed there until his retirement in October, 1986. His parents, George Howard Leslie and Paula E. Campbell Leslie; his sisters Martha Leslie Pagel (Herbert) and Merle Leslie Nelson and his brother George Leslie preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Mary Evelyn Sizemore Leslie; sons, Wayne E. Leslie (Karen) and Donald H. Leslie; brother John A. Leslie; grandchildren: Eric M. Leslie (Heather), Lauren R. Leslie Kohlhoff (Jeff), Jamie E. Leslie, Amanda C. Leslie Etherege (Kelly); and great-grandchildren: Emilie S. Kohlhoff and Tabitha C. Leslie; niece: Leslie A. Pagel; and nephews: Richard A. Nelson, Johnny Leslie (Cheryl), Bruce C. Leslie and Glenn E. Leslie (Melissa). Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel with graveside service at 2:00. Family and guests are invited to return to the Chapel for food and fellowship after the service.
