Helen Disney Morgan age 91 of Hoover, Al. passed away March 05, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Walter J. Morgan, her parents Mitt and Rosa Disney and her brother Clovis Disney. She is survived by he sister Faye Owens of Smoke Rise and Faye’s children David Owens of Pinson, Carol Reynolds of Warrior and Donna McAnnally of Mt. Olive, as well as her nephew Richard Disney of Austin, Texas. She was retired from B.P. Oil company with 25 years of service. Helen was a member of Green Valley Baptist church and was very active in her Sunday school class. She was active in community organizations, having served as President of the Nena Literary Club and Hoover New Horizons. She was a member of the Hoover Service Club, charter member of Beta Sigma Phi, National Secretaries Assoc., Desk and Derrick and Lakeview Ladies Club. Helen passed away quietly with a peace and contentment that comes only from knowing Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. A celebration of her life will be held at Graveside Thursday March 09, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. till 2:00 at Ridout’s Elmwood Chap
