

Henry Clay Jones, 68 passed away 0n April 15,2022 after a short illness. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on November 28, 1953. He was proceeded in death by his parents Marcus Andrew Jones, Sr. and Ann Ruth Jones, and his half brother Marcus Andrew Jones Jr.
He was a graduate of Marian Military Institute, and he received his college degree from University of South Florida. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany between his educational accomplishments. In the early 1980s he was part of the punk rock band Ether Dogs and performed in the Birmingham area. They were featured in a French article on punk rock and an album was released of some of their music 38 years later. Most recently a book (Righteous Brothers) was published on Biker Culture in China and a focus was on his participation and leadership of the biker club Long March. He lived and worked in Seattle, Washington before deciding to travel the world and finding a new home in China where he lived over 25 years until Covid pandemic sealed the border and prevented his return.
He is survived by a niece Cathy Daniel and two nephews Marcus Andrew Jones III and Donald Jones and cousins as well as many friends all other the world.
He recently told a friend he had searched for years all over the world and found his real family were his cousin Norma Ann and his best friend John Nolan.
Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery next to his parents.
