Herman E. James, age 95, from Birmingham went home to be with the Lord December 21, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn James and his parents John and Jessie James. He is survived by his daughters Ann Bayless, Karen Millwee (Brian), Sue Bazzano (Edwin); son Terry James; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He loved driving his eighteen wheeler before his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel beginning at 1:00 pm.
