Jacqueline “Jackie” Morris Hall passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, January 5th 2022. She was born June 25th, 1926 in Tarrant, Alabama and graduated from Jefferson County High School in 1944. After 30 years as the Bookkeeper and Registrar at W.A. Berry High School, she retired in 1990 but remained active as secretary and treasurer of the Hoover Historical Society and her Sunday School class at Hunter Street Baptist Church. Jackie is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Al K. Hall, her parents, Joe and Era Morris, daughter, Donna Jean Thrift, and sister, Ruth Morris Vick. She is survived by her beloved daughter and caretaker, Ann (Randy) Wilbanks, grandchildren Wes (Alicia) Wilbanks, Glenn (Amy) Wilbanks, and Veronica (Craig) Noland, great-grandchildren Ashley Wilbanks, Katie Mae Wilbanks, Wyatt Wilbanks, Jacob Noland, Austin Wilbanks, Owen Wilbanks, Kayla Noland, Evan Wilbanks, and Chloe Noland, nieces Anita Johnstone and Elaine Linebaugh, and cousin Bartee Worthington, as well as countless loved ones and friends. Visitation will be held at Elmwood Chapel Saturday, January 8th, from 10:00-11:00 am with services at 11:00. Graveside to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
