Jackie was preceded in death by her son, Nicholas Shahid, her parents, Jack and Marion Mitchell, sister, Barbara Guthrie, and brother, George Mitchell.
Jackie is survived by her loving husband, Alex Shahid Jr., son, Alex Shahid III, daughter-in-law, Julia Samander Shahid, Grandchildren, George Shahid, and Ella Shahid.

A Visitation for Jacqueline will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Saint George Greek-Melkite Church with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM 425 16th Avenue South Birmingham, Alabama 35205.
