It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of James “Jim” Christo Jebeles, who went home to be with the Lord on June 15, 2025, at the age of 67. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, on March 10, 1958, Jim was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
Jim was known for his good-hearted nature and quick wit, which brought joy to those around him. He dedicated 30 years of his life to Mayfield Dairy, where he was a valued member of the team. Outside of work, Jim found solace and happiness in the mountains, enjoying trips whenever he could. He was also an avid reader and expressed his creativity through making Color Art.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Christo James Jebeles and Barbara Gunn Odom; his brother, Mark Jebeles; and his son, Christo James Jebeles.
Jim is survived by his devoted wife of 19 years, Patricia Ryan Jebeles; his loving sons, Philip Jebeles and Robert Jebeles; and three cherished grandchildren, who will miss him dearly.
A visitation will be held at Johns Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 9:30 AM until 10:00 AM. A celebration of Jim’s life will follow at 10:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery.
