Lopez, James Lawrence, age 72 of Birmingham, Al was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday morning, March 1, 2014. He was a loving husband of 52 years to wife, Martha Jean Lopez, an amazing father to his three children, Cheri Lopez (Barry) Henderson, Lisa Lopez (Todd) Perry and Jeremy Lance Lopez, and a wonderful grandfather to six grand children and two great grandchildren. As a pastor for several years, Jim touched the hearts of many. He is gone but not forgotten.
Funeral service will be Tuesday March 4, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with interment to follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30 until service time on Tuesday.
