Janice Louise (White) Vickery

Janice Louise White Vickery, age 68 of Odenville, joined her family in Heaven on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Lora White; brother, Michael White; and sister, Susan White. She is survived by her devoted husband, David Vickery; daughter, Sarah Beam (Jerry); sons, Josh Vickery (Beth) and Jacob Vickery; brothers, John Patrick White and George White (Ruthie); grandchildren, Matthew Vickery, Caleb Vickery, Colt Baker, Brooklyn Baker, Cora Beam, Sawyer Beam and Asher Vickery; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Janice grew up in the Huntsville area and graduated from Butler High School. She attended nursing school in Birmingham where she met her husband, David. She is proud of her nursing career at UAB and Birmingham Heart Clinic where she retired. Janice loved coaching and watching her children’s sporting activities, especially softball, and enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with them at the pool, cooking out and the annual family beach trip. Her family will celebrate her life on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 2-4 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jimmie Hale Mission or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
