BARTON, JANIS ZEANAH Barton, Janis Zeanah age 56, of Birmingham passed away September 29, 2010 after a 13 year battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents James Boyd and Madge Wehunt Zeanah. She was a graduate of Mountain Brook High School. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Warren Barton, son James Douglas Barton, relatives and many dear friends. Graveside services will be held Friday October 1, 2010 at 12 Noon at Forest Crest Cemetery with Dr. Jim Barnette and Rev. Tim Clark officiating with Ridout's Trussville Chapel directing. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Ridout's Trussville Chapel on Friday prior to services. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions to Brookwood Baptist Church, The Birmingham Boys Choir or The Susan G. Komen Foundation.
