Jeanette Mozley Hamic, age 78 of Birmingham, AL. passed away on June 26, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Ernest Hamic and her parents, Charles and Vera Mozley. Mrs. Hamic was a member of Roebuck Parkway Church of Christ. She was a registered nurse for 48 years and spent the majority of her career at Medical Center East. She is survived by her children, Marilyn Kurdy (Tom), Lisa Hamic King, Laura Weisberg (Craig) and James Gerry Hamic (Julie); sisters, Sharon King and Nancy Nabors (Charles); brother, Charles Mozley (Nell); A special grand daughter, Brooke Reese; And special nieces and nephew; and great nieces and nephew. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st at 11:00 a.m. at Roebuck Parkway Church of Christ. Burial will follow at the Alabama National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will be held Monday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Roebuck Parkway Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that doanations be made to Jefferson Christian Academy.
