Jewel "Judy" Sellers Colley, went home to be with the Lord July 26, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Sellers, Sr. and Jewell Sellers; husband, John Colley; and brother Jack Sellers, Jr. Judy is survived by her daughter, Jackie Davenport (Brent); grandchildren, Kate, Thomas, and Bo Davenport.
Judy was a very beloved preschool teacher at Hunter St. Baptist Church. She touched the lives of many children over her 28 year career. Judy will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but most especially her grandchildren, who called her Meme.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 12 pm at Johns Ridout's Elmwood Chapel. A graveside service will follow at Elmwood Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
