Jimmie Sue Garrard, age 87, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Sue is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Billy F. Garrard. Sue is survived by her children, Victor Anthony (Carol) Garrard, Stanley K (Margaret) Garrard and James Eric Garrard. Sue is also survived by her grandchildren Matthew Cole (Molly) Garrard, Kaitlin Taylor (Robert) Folkerts and her great grandchild Jack F. Garrard and Callan Folkerts who is expected to be born early April of 2023. Her passion for children led her to become a dedicated servant of the St Luke's Episcopal Church Mother's Day Out Program. Known as Miss Sue by numerous parents and children for over 30 years, she will be missed by all and remembered for her love, support and care. A visitation for Sue will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial will take place at Forest Crest following service.
