Joan L. Phillips, 70, passed away on Friday June 30, 2017. She is survived by three daughters Heather L. Findley, Shannon Pochran, and Nicole Phillips-Morris; two son-in-laws Kenneth Findley and Billy Ray Morris II; and seven grandchildren Chandler Ann Findley, Dustin Oglesbey, Dalton Findley, Christian Oglesbey, Mason Oglesbey, Barrett Findley, and Annalise Findley. Joan was predeceased by her husband, Tommy Phillips. She worked for over 20 years at Basden Risk Management. She took great joy in time spent with family and her seven grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel Monday, July 3, 2017 at 10 a.m., with service to follow at 11:00 a. m. and interment at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
