July 23, 1920 - March 01, 2015 Joe (Nish) Antonio, age 94, passed away March 1, 2015. He was the third of eight children. Parents were Norman Joseph Antonio and Ignazzia (Nancy) Antonio of Sicily. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Louise Holcomb Antonio, his brother, Frank Antonio, and sister, Frances Kennedy. He is also survived by his four children: Norman (Gail) Antonio, Jean Antonio (Steve Shish), Joe Antonio, and Nancy (Dee) Jones. Pops is the beloved grandfather of seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Nish was an Army Veteran. He lived in Ensley and Pleasant Grove, Alabama, retired from the family owned auto parts business, Antonio Auto Parts, and retired to Panama City, Florida. Nish loved his work, his auto parts friends, and worked hard for his family, which he loved so dearly. Pops was truly a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Visitation will be 10:00am - 11:00am on Saturday, March 07, 2015 at John-Ridout's Elmwood Chapel followed by graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery at 11:30am.
