John O. Bolton

BOLTON, DR. JOHN O. age 59, of Birmingham, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Hazel Bolton of Scottsboro. He is survived by his daughter, Breanna Carol Bolton and her mother Kathy Davis Bolton; brothers, Dr. Larry Bolton (Dot) and Kermit Bolton (Jodie); nieces and nephews, Taylor, Bill (Jade), Andy, Kelly, Angel (Michael) and Ryann. Johnny attended the University of Alabama where he was a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity and graduated from the UAB School of Dentistry. He practiced dentistry in Birmingham since 1978. Dr. Bolton loved his practice in Clay-Chalkville, his patients, and especially his wonderful staff Dana, Debra, Brooke, Dianne, Kristin, Lisa and others through the years. He loved fishing and Alabama football. Special thanks to Annabelle Bullos Malinao for her devoted caregiving. His family will receive friends on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Ridout's Trussville Chapel from 2-5 PM. There will be a graveside service on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Pine Haven Memorial Gardens in Scottsboro beginning at 2 PM with Rev. Kevin Wilburn of First Baptist Scottsboro officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alabama Baptist Children's Home.
