John Kenneth DeVaney, Sr. age 58 of Talladega passed away February 18, 2012. He worked in construction for Duncan and Thompson. He was a loving son, father, and grandfather. Mr. DeVaney is survived by his children, John Kenneth DeVaney, Jr. (Michele) and Tina DeVaney; mother, Mary Ann Meadows; grandchildren, Brandon and Travis DeVaney, Jay, Jack, and Jeffrey Brown. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 22, 2012 beginning at 12:00 noon at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel followed by a chapel service at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
