He is survived by his sons Bryon (Adrienne) and Kevin James Russell, grandchildren Hayden Claire, Madelyn, Cecilia, Finley Russell and two brothers Bill and George Russell.
Mr. Russell was born in Cleveland, Ohio and lived in Birmingham most of his adult life. He was a medical technologist at St. Vincent’s Birmingham for over 10 years; he later spent over 25 years at the Jefferson County Health Department before retiring.
There will be a Memorial Service for Mr. Russell Saturday July 25, 2015 at 5:00 P.M. at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel.
