He was preceded in death by his wife, Dr. Tara Lynn Sudderth. He is survived by his sons, John W. Sudderth, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Michael Sudderth (Chris); daughters, Deidra Sudderth Clark (Robert) and Cindy Kenney (Val); grandchildren, Erin Sudderth Bradshaw, Ian Patrick Sudderth, William John “Jake” Clark, Robert Maxwell “Max” Clark, Jeremy Allen Kenney and Diana Marie Parker; and several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. John was born and raised in Woodlawn. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. John was an attorney and at the law firm Sudderth and Somerset P.A. in Woodlawn.
A graveside service for John will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 8, 2025 at Forest Hill Cemetery, 431 60th St N, Birmingham, AL 35212.
