June Morrow Fletcher, age 89, of Birmingham, AL, went home to be with Jesus on August 7, 2020. She was born July 7, 1931 in Birmingham, AL. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Eunice Morrow; son, Mark Jon Gibson; husband, James Lockhart Fletcher; and sister, Doris Morrow Crutcher. She is survived by her children, Earl Morrow Gibson (Betty) and Dorian Gibson Shine (William); and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
June worked as a broker in the Real Estate industry for many years where she became one of the first women in the state of Alabama to receive a CCIM Designation. She served as an officer in the local, state, and national committees. June was a member of Mountain Brook Baptist Church for almost 60 years, where she was a member of the senior choir, which she dearly loved.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in her memory to the Baptist Children’s Home, 2681 Rocky Ridge Ln, Birmingham, AL 35216.
