Kate M. Stewart, 88 of Homewood, Al passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013.She was the 7th of 12 children born to George and Bessie McKeever. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 57 years Eric A. Stewart. Survivors include son Allen Stewart, daughters Rosemary Stewart and Patricia Taylor, granddaughter Melissa Taylor, and a very special child who she loved very much, Katie Wakeford. The family will receive friends from 10:00 Am to 11:00 AM, Monday at Elmwood Chapel with graveside services following at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has request memorials be may to the Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama.
