Kathleen “Kitty” Anderson, age 94 from Dunwoody, Georgia, passed from this life on Wednesday morning, September 23, 2020. She was born in Jasper, Alabama to Troy and Lilla Richardson on November 7, 1925 and was the oldest of 10 children. Her hobbies were crocheting and watching Atlanta Braves baseball. She delighted in crocheting blankets for all “her babies” and friends. She loved to play chair volleyball with her Dunwoody Pines friends, and listen to the old big band music.
She retired from Baptist Medical Center Princeton where she worked as a switchboard operator.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harry Horner, and John W. Anderson Jr, sisters Yvonne and Chris, brothers James “Bud” and Edward, great-granddaughter Ariyanna, and best friend Doris Basbas.
She leaves behind her siblings, Barbara Faye, Douglas, Patsy, Paula and Wanda, children Anita and Harry Jr., grandchildren Danielle and Carl , great-grandchildren Aiden , Christian, Aniyah and Carlie-Faith. Her “babies” will truly miss their Nanny, as she was affectionately called.
