Kelly Jones Thompson (July 29, 1968-October 1, 2014) Kelly Jones Thompson died suddenly on October 1. She was loved greatly by her family and is survived by her husband, Philip Thompson, daughter, Meagan Alene Thompson, son Nicholas Lee Thompson, mother, Barbara Quarrier Jones, sister Deborah Jones Hall, grandmother, Pat Quarrier and cousin and lifelong friend Bobby Lazenby. Kelly was preceded in death by her father, Elbert Lee Jones, Jr. Kelly was born in Birmingham and graduated from Vestavia Hills High School. She worked for several years at J P Accounting Company. Visitation will be October 3, 2014 5 -7 pm at Elmwood Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 4, at Elmwood Cemetery.
