Kenneth “Kenny” David Pinson, age 53, of Irondale, Alabama passed away at his home on June 9, 2025, of a heart attack. His dad passed away on the same day in 1988, at home of a heart attack. He was a member of Scout Troop 292 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Irondale where he accepted Jesus into his heart and was baptized at 15 years old.
Kenny is predeceased by his father, George Kenneth Pinson, his grandmother, Annie “Gigi” Mae Brooks, grandfather, William “Bill” Brooks; grandfather, Louis Pinson; grandmother, Bessie Mae Pinson and his faithful dog Ernie.
He is survived by his mother, Glaydell Pinson; his fiancé, Kacey Sanford, aunts, uncles and many cousins. He leaves his three pet turtles Bertha, Stella Blue and LT, and his fur baby, Sugaree.
Kenney worked in many positions at several Birmingham restaurants. His last employment was at UAB as a phlebotomist. He was a member of Irondale Baptist Church and Tide Sports.
Services are in the care of Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. A celebration of Kenny’s life will be announced later.
