EVANS, LAWRENCE S. April 16, 1925 – December 24, 2015. Lawrence Evans, age 90, went to be with the Lord on December 24th. He was born in Birmingham, AL. He retired from Princeton Baptist Medical Center. He was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Gladys Evans; his wife of 51 years, Lorraine Evans; his brothers, Jack and Sonny Evans, and his sister, Barbara Teer. He enjoyed the last years of his life by spending time with his family in Lexington, South Carolina. He is survived by his son, Richard (Eva) Evans; his granddaughters, Michelle (Mike) Frick, and Melissa Duncan; his great-grandchildren, Hunter Duncan, Brooke Duncan, and Taylor Frick; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am on Tuesday, December 29, at Elmwood Chapel, with a graveside service following at 11:00 in Elmwood Cemetery.
