Leonard Lee Penney

Leonard Lee Penney, 83, of Vestavia Hills, Alabama made heaven a little fuller on Saturday, April 4, 2021. He was a member of Mountain Chapel United Methodists Church. He was a true southern gentleman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, CG “Bud” and Mayo Penney and his son, Trent Turner. He is survived by his wife, Edwina Penney, brother, Jack (Patty) Penney, two sons Michael (Sherry) Penney and Tim Penney, daughter Cammie (Marty) Rash and daughter-in-law Donna Turner, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside service will be Wednesday, April 7 at 11:00 am at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asked donations be made in memory of Mr. Penney to Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church or The Humane Society of Birmingham.
