He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Griffin (Mike); son, Steve Hicks (Nell); 4 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 nephews and other relatives.
Louis was an avid Alabama fan. He was a member of the Local 91 for over 60 years. Louis served in the United States Marines. He was a WWII veteran.
Family will receive friends Thursday April 26, 2018 at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM.
Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
