Louise Barnett

BARNETT, LOUISE, age 102 of Irondale, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, October 30, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Almous Barnett; son, Eugene Mims “Bubba” Barnett; and daughter, Sue Dahlke Hames. She is survived by her daughter, Jerry Pylant; daughter-in-law, Lynn Barnett; grandchildren, Lynda Mullins (Jim), Rita Henderson (Dan), Gene Barnett (Mary Ruth), Debbie Nail (David) and Sondra Scott (Daryl); 9 great-grandchildren; and 8 great great-grandchildren. Louise was a charter member of Hanks Memorial Freewill Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 56 years and served in many other ways, including Church Secretary and Song Director. What a blessing the legacy you have provided us with. Our hearts are forever grateful for the unconditional love your hands and heart have given to each of us over the years. We love you! The family gives thanks the caregivers at St. Martins in the Pines and to special friends, J. A. Cox and Jeran Jolly for their visits with Louise. Her family will receive friends on Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 10-11 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
