Mrs. Lucille C. Holcomb age 105 of Birmingham passed away Monday, April 9, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred H. Holcomb. Mrs. Holcomb was a charter member of Central Church of Christ, where she worked as a secretary, and Palisades Church of Christ. She is survived by her children, Larry Holcomb (Mary) and Ann H. Lawson (Jerry); grandchildren, Scott (Amy) Holcomb, Lesley (Tommy) Land, and Brandon (Ashley) Holcomb; great grandchildren, Stace, Reeve, and Elyse Holcomb; Trent, Lindsey, and Jake Holcomb; Will and Rachel Land. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel from 5:00-7:00 pm. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 11:00 am at Elmwood Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at Elmwood Chapel at 10:45 am for procession to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Palisades Church of Christ or the charity of your choice.
