Margaret Francis Allen

ALLEN, MARGARET FRANCIS, age 81 of Springville, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Allen, Sr.; parents, Drayton and Carrie Farley; son, James Allen; sister, Jaunita Beets; and brother, Norman Lee Farley. She is survived by her children, Carol Allen Schantz (Steve), George Allen, Jr. (Rhonda), and Greg Allen (Phyllis); daughter-in-law, Virginia Allen; brother, Drayton Farley (Betty); sisters, Evelyn Roulaine and Dorothy Crumpton; grandchildren, Derik Peart (Renee), Rachel Summy (Mike), Melissa Smitherman (Rocky), Tara Hughes (Brad), Sarah Hicks (Billy), Amanda Allen (Jacob Pomplun), Benjamin Schantz, George Allen, III (Drea), Brianna Perry (Vern), Ashley Saruse (Adam), Laura Morris (Garrett), Lindsay Weldon (Josh), and James Allen, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Konnor and Kollin Peart, Caroline and Mikey Summy, Jay and Ayla Smitherman, Braden and Clara Hughes, Will Hicks, George IV and Molly Allen, Addison, Alexander and Allen Saruse, Levi, Scarlett and Brogan Morris, and Wyatt and Walker Weldon. Margaret’s family would remind us all that her greatest joy in life was her family, friends and her doggies. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 11:30-12:30 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 12:30. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oasis Hospice.
