Age 97, of Homewood, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. She is survived by her children, Joan (Bill) Wright, Gwendolyn (Mike) Praytor, Jeffery (Vickie) Bryant; 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and brother Archie (Juanita) McBride. Mrs. Bryant is preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Bryant. She was a charter member of Raleigh Avenue Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to her church. The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice and caregiver Cherryl Hudson for their loving care and service. Funeral services will be held at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel on Sunday, April 10, at 2 pm with visitation beginning at 1 pm. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, with Pastor Nic Seaborn officiating .
