Margaret L. Mercer age: 86 of Empire , Al. passed away peacefully at her residence on June 18, 2016 . She was preceded in death by her husband James D. Mercer and several brothers and sisters . She is survived by her son Jimmy Wayne Thursby and family . A Celebration of life service will be held at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel on Wednesday June 22 , 2016 at 2:00 pm with visitation one hour prior to the service . Burial will follow at Elmwood cemetery
