She lived in Houston Texas immediately out of college and graduated from Samford University as well as the Birmingham School of Law. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Ada Jarrett as well as her brother Jerome (Jerry) Jarrett.
Having been a member of Bluff Park United Methodist Church, Martha sang in the choir and was a Sunday School teacher there for the last 9 years.
Martha will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum, 600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr., Birmingham, AL. There will be a celebration of life service at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home, 800 Dennison Avenue, on Saturday the February 10, 2024 at 11:00AM in the Maple Room.
In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to Bluff Park United Methodist Church in her memory.
Martha was survived by many Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
