Mary Ann Callaway Dennis

Mary Ann Callaway Dennis, age 77, of Birmingham AL died September 2, 2022. She was a member of the Red Hat Society in Birmingham for 17 years. She was a member of the Daughters of the King ministry at Holy Apostles Episcopal Church. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Mary Ann enjoyed traveling with her friends and visited many countries. She loved spending time with her family and her beloved pet, Simba. She had a beautiful spirit and her smile could light up the room. She will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by her husband Donald Roy Dennis (Big “D”), mother Mary Oneida O’Dell Callaway, and brother Jackson Stewart Callaway , Jr. Her survivors include brother, Joseph Judson Callaway, his wife, Lyndia Cole Callaway, son Jeffery Keith Dennis, his children Zachary Alexander Dennis, Alexandria (Lexi) Claire Dennis, Kimberly “Hope" Travis, son Kenneth Scott Dennis, his wife, Suzanne DiChiara Dennis, their children Lauren Nicole Dennis, Vincent Scott Dennis,”Daughter" Shannon Bates Dennis, great grandson Ezra James Doss. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 7, 2022 at John’s-Ridout's Elmwood Chapel 800 Dennison Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211. Visitation 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. Service at 10 a.m. with grave side service.
