Mary Elizabeth Morgan

Mary Elizabeth Freeman Morgan went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 31st, 2015. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Valentine P. and Eula Catherine Freeman; her husband, Lawrence H. Morgan; her daughter, Carol Morgan Tyler; her sister, Marion Freeman McClure Kirby; and brothers, Val, Charles, George, Same, and Robert “Bob” Freeman. She is survived by her daughters Joan and Mary “Dee Dee” Morgan; her sisters, Dorothy F. Barr (the late Arch Barr, Jr.), Catherine F. Lord White; and her brother, William A. Freeman, all of Birmingham; and sister, Peggy F. McLendon (William M. McLendon, Sr.) of Montgomery. Also surviving are sister-in-laws Margaret Freeman (Charles), Louise Freeman (George), and Mary Ruth Freeman (Sam), all of Birmingham; her granddaughters, Carol Tyler Crosson (the late Martin Crosson) of Nashville and Elizabeth Tyler Enlow (John) of Los Angeles, and her great granddaughters, Morgan, Brittany, and Dakota Crosson, and Promise, Justice, Grace, and Glory Enlow. We wish to extend our sincere appreciation to the Comfort Care Hospice staff who have been so helpful and compassionate, especially to Carolyn, Lynn, Sharri, Sonja, and Bart. Visitation will begin one hour prior to Graveside Services to be held on November 4, 2015, at 2:00 pm at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
