Mary Frances Roberson White passed away on July 11th, 2015. She was the daughter of Joe Lee Roberson and Eula Evans Roberson of Ragland, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde P. White, one sister Lera Adams of Birmingham, four brothers, Sims Roberson, Joe Roberson, Paul Roberson and Evans “Buddy” King. She is survived by her daughter, Lynne White Hughston (husband, Ernest) and one grand-daughter, Lauren Frances Hughston; cousins Aileen Spruiell, Jerry Adams (wife, Lucille) and Gene Roberson (wife Celia) and a number of other nieces, nephews and cousins. Frances was a loving wife of over 62 years, a tireless homemaker and doting mother and grandmother, who devoted herself to caring for her family, including her mother and her wheelchair-bound brother for many years. She was a life-long member of the Church of Christ. In her 64 years in Birmingham, she was a member of the Central Church of Christ, The Palisades Church of Christ and most recently, the Vestavia Church of Christ. The family will receive friends at Elmwood Chapel on Tuesday, July 14th from 10:00 - 11:00 am with services immediately following.
