Maxine Boyd Hafling Davis, age 92, passed away on July 31, 2020. She was born January 28, 1928 in Cisco, Texas to Ona Johnson Boyd and Lee Roy Boyd. Maxine is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Mark Hafling, Sr; husband, Carlton Eugene Davis; son, John Mark Hafling, Jr.; daughter in law, Sandra Justice Hafling; and three grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Hafling Geistman (Reggie) of Birmingham, AL, Karen Hafling Newman (Bill) of Bradenton, FL, Leslie Hafling Thompson (Gene) of Birmingham, AL, Polly Davis Brothers (Robert) of Birmingham, AL; Dawn Davis of Birmingham, AL; sister, Betty Brooks of Ruidoso, NM; 7 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Maxine worked for many years in the accounting department as a bookkeeper at Jim Clay Optician.
