Maxine Winters Price, age 95 of Homewood, AL passed away Monday, August 03, 2015. She was born December 4, 1919 in Lynn, Winston County, AL. Maxine was a member of Homewood Church of Christ, a loving wife and mother to her sons. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raburn H. Price; parents, Earnest D. and Ada Long Winters; sisters, Lillie W. Dobbs, Elizabeth W. Gattie, and Earnestine W. Cox; and brother, Odie Winters. Maxine is survived by her two sons, Kenneth R. Price (Mary Ann) of Franklin, TN and Donnie M. Price of Homewood, AL; grandsons Jeffery R. Price (Laura) of Franklin, TN and Andrew D. Price (Mandy) of Huntersville, NC; great grandchildren Joshua B. Price and Anna Karon Price of Franklin, TN and Holden A. Price and Madison F. Price of Huntersville, NC. She is also survived by her sister, Gwen W. Lollar of Tuscaloosa, AL; brother, Wallace Winters (Thelma) of Okanogan, WA; special nephew, Billy Ray Bryant (Kathy) and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 5th, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Elmwood Chapel. Graveside service will be Thursday, August 6th, 2015 at 10:00am at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to The Lakeshore Foundation in memory of Maxine.
