Michael DENTON, age 63, of Lincoln, Alabama went to be with the lord on the morning of August 18th, 2021 at the age of 63. He will be deeply missed. He was born in the year of 1957 in Enterprise, Alabama, the third of five children to Donald David and Barbara Ann Bentley Denton. He was a graduate of Warner Robbins High School and attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He worked as a Manufacturing Engineer and Safety Engineer Coordinator.
Michael is survived by his daughter Michelle Lee Denton Cook of Birmingham, AL; son Eric Zachary Fox of Nashville, TN.; mother Barbara Ann Bentley Denton of Talladega, AL. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, MaryJane Athena Cook, and Devan Ignatius Cook; 1 adopted grandchild, Jade Marie Phillips; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Sherry Denton Piersol and Donna Denton Davis; 2 brothers, David Denton and Robert Denton; and Numerous nieces and nephews. Michael is predeceased in death by is father Donald David Denton.
A memorial service for Michael will be held Sunday, September 5, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235.
