Isbell, Odis age 89 of Odenville, AL formally of Irondale passed away on July 19, 2013 at his home surrounded by his love ones. He was retired from Southern Ready Mix with 30 years of service. He proudly served his country in WWII in the the battle of the Bulge with the 137th Infantry. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, 4 brothers, 1 sister and 2 granddaughters. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 64 years, Virginia Isbell; children, Gene (Lorene), Shirley (John), Ray (Sheila), David (Lisa) and Carl (Cathy); 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; 1 brother and sister. Visitation will be Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Funeral service Monday July 22, 2013 at 12 Noon, Pastor John Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.
