O'Neal Bullock

Neal Bullock, 60, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away unexpectedly on November 15, 2018. Neal was born on February 19, 1958 to Orvil and Emma Bullock in Walker County, Alabama. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, great uncle, and friend.

Neal was preceded in passing by his father, Orvil Bullock; his sister, Natalie Graham; and his nephew Josh Gilleo. He is survived by his mother Emma Bullock; his sister Pamela Russ (Greg Melton); his nieces and nephews Chastity Ziegenbein (Devane), Ashley Harney (Kent), Brooke Ingram (Lance), and Neko Russ (Amy); as well as many aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews, and dear friends.

Neal loved to fish. He began fishing at a young age with his father and it stayed a lifelong passion for him. He was a talented craftsman, carpenter, mechanic, and could fix just about anything. Neal was incredibly intelligent and had an extraordinary memory. He studied the Bible front to back and could quote you anything you asked him to share. He was funny and outgoing, a joyful person to be around. He proudly served in the United States Navy for 2 years before being honorably discharged. Most recently, Neal was working with Fresh Start Ministries as a transporter. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
