Peggy Sartain Farley passed away at her home on May 20th 2022, she was 88 years young. Peggy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to everybody that knew her. She attended Oakman High School and later came to work for SCI-Dignity's Elmwood Cemetery where she served hundreds of families in need of funeral cemetery services for over 20 years. She truly never met a stranger there as a loyal and hard working employee.
Peggy is preceded in death by her loving husband James William Farley Sr., daughter Rhonda L. Farley, and grandson James Thomas Farley, and numerous other brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her caring daughter Karen D. Farley, son James William Farley Jr., two grandchildren: James Dean and Trevor Ryan Farley, and 4 great-grandchildren. Peggy will be missed by not only family and close friends, but also by her family at Elmwood Cemetery and Elmwood Chapel.
Her Graveside service will be held at 2:30PM Friday, May 27, 2022 at Forest Grove Cemetery in Pleasant Grove. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home Thursday.
