Richard Edward Powers Jr., passed away on March 25, 2013. He is survived by his wife Karen Thomas Powers, son; Michael Thomas Powers, daughter; Kelly Gales(Stephen), grandsons; Andrew and Aiden, brother; Robert Powers (Elise), nephews; Ryan and Robby(Kelly), niece; Jennifer, and a host of dear friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday March 28, 2013 at Elmwood Cemetery, with a visitation one hour prior at Elmwood Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Jimmie Hale Mission or The Birmingham Humane Society.
