Richard Charles Rodgers, age 75 passed on July 12, 2016. He was a longtime resident of Birmingham, AL. He is survived by a sister Charlotte (Rodgers) Ryan and a Nephew David Ryan. He retired from Samford University. He served in the Army and Air Force. Richard was an Elder at the Ensley Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home with graveside service and burial following at 2:00 P.M. at Elmwood Cemetery.
