Robert Dyar

DYAR, ROBERT DALE died February 23, 2012 at age 77. He was a member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his parents - Belve Moody Dyar and Christie Prickett Dyar. Survivors include: wife, Ann Kile Dyar and 3 children - Karen Dyar Salem, Dale Kile Dyar (Pamela O'Neil) and Sharon Dyar Hassler (Carl); a twin brother, James H. Dyar (Julianne) and 2 children, Steve Dyar and Helen Dyar. Grandchildren are April Salem, Emma Grace Hassler and Gaines Hassler. He had many friends and cousins. Mr. Dyar graduated from Gadsden High School and Jacksonville State University; served in the Army; attended UAB and obtained a degree in Medical Technology. Employers were Shelby County Hospital, Druid City Hospital, Barbour County Hospital, Sylacauga Hospital and retired from Roche Biomedical/Lab Corp. A memorial service will be held at Elmwood Chapel at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 1, 2012; Rev. Bill Saxon and Rev. Gary Jones will be conducting the service. Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 pm. before the Memorial Service.
