Ronald Elliot Huskey, 75, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019. He was preceded by his parents Carl and Grace Huskey and his brother David Huskey. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Jackie Huskey; son, Ron Huskey (Alison) and daughter Carole Brown (Brevin); grandchildren, Maddie, Julia Paige, and Eli Huskey and Grace Brown. Ron grew up in Ft. Pierce, Florida and was a graduate of Georgia Tech. He worked for 36 years at U.S. Steel. Ron was an avid golfer and enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family. He was a longtime member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 10:00 -11:00 AM at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home with a Memorial Service following at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Shades Mountain Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.
