Rosalind Virginia Hearn James Moore passed away on September 30, 2021. She is preceded in death by her mother, Claudine Hearn Ledbetter, and her brother, Charles Thomas Hearn. She is survived by her beloved son, Joseph Frank James of Oneonta, AL.; sisters, Joy Kasper of El Paso, TX, Carole Massey and Judy Hearn of Trussville, Al.; brother Joseph (Sonny) Hearn of Ft. Payne, AL. and several nieces and nephews.
Lovingly known as Ginger, she is the 5th of 6 children. Ginger always had a kind-hearted and endearing personality, quick to laugh and smile!
Ginger loved her menagerie of cats, and she so wanted to rescue any cat she saw in need of a good home. Ginger's family will greatly miss her warm sweetness and fun, intelligent wit.
A visitation for Ginger will be held Friday, October 8, 2021, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm. Pastor Alex Oberneder will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donating to the Alzheimer's Association or to your favorite charity.
